Dean of the faculty is Vladimir Victorovich Slesarev, Doctor of Technical Science, professor, head of the Department of System Analysis and Management. |
The Faculty was established in 2002 on the basis of Electrotechnical Faculty. The latter was transformed into Electroenergy Institute.
The faculty consists of 4 departments:
- Automation and Computer Systems
- Computer Programs
- Electronics and Information Technologies
- System Analysis and Management

The Faculty prepares Bachelors, Specialists, Masters.
The fields of activities covered by faculty graduates:
- automated and computerized control systems;
- computer systems software and networking systems (either of universal or special purpose),
- ways of information protection and its processing and transfer with limited access,
- telecommunication systems, developing and substantiating of solutions used in management of complex industrial, social and economic systems, applying intellectual systems of decision making to work in given context and under certain circumstances.
