Department of Transportation Management

Head of the Department is Igor Alexandrovych TARAN, Candidate of Technical Science, Associate Professor.

The department was based in 2004.

The department trains specialists according to the direction “Transport technologies” on specialties:

• Organization and regulation of traffic;
  
• Organization of transportation and autotransport control.
  

Levels of training: bachelor, specialist.

• Organization of passenger transportation;
  
• Interaction of kinds of transport;

• Foreign trade operations, etc.
  

The educational process is provided by teaching staff of the department consisting of 5 candidates of technical science (associate professors), 2 senior teacher, 3 assistants.

• research of transportation system of big cities;
  
• research of system of cargo transportation;
  
• research and development of measures on improving the transport vehicles movement;
  
• research of complicated logistic systems;
  
• transport service marketing;
  
• environmental problems of automobile transport and economy functioning;
  
• transport movement safety;
  
• improving of the theory of methods of calculation and constructions of conveyer, rail and automobile transport.
