Department of Automobiles and Automobile economy

Head of department is Bas Kostyantyn Markovych, engineer-mechanic, Candidate of Technical Science, Associate Professor.

The Department of Automobiles and Automobile Economy was founded in 2003 on the base of the Department of Applied Mechanic, which had existed since 1922.

At present the department offers study according to the direction:
"Motor transport", specialty “Automobiles and automobile equipment”.
Educational and qualification levels offered are bachelor, specialist.

The studying process is provided by 1 doctor of technical science, professor, 10 candidates of technical science.

Totally the staff is composed of 19 persons, including service personnel.

At the department there is opened a post-graduate course on specialty “Mining transport”

The department implements the research and science work on such directions, as lug and motor transportation, steeply inclined conveyers.
