The Dean of the Faculty of Law is Sergey Victorovich Grischak, PhD in Law, Associate Professor of the Department of State Law and Administration. |
The Faculty of Law of the National Mining University was founded in 2001.
In 2002 it was accredited by the State Accreditation Commission to the IIIrd level and was authorized to train bachelors and specialists in law by specialty 6.0601 “Law”, 7.060101 “Jurisprudence”.
The Faculty consists of 5 departments:
- Criminal Law;
- Civil and Economic Law;
- Philosophy;
- History and Political Theory;
- Administrative Law and Management.
Students of the Law Faculty of NMU study more then 40 subjects during the time of their study. Among them are:

The students are given the possibility to apply their knowledge in order to improve their qualification, for instance in ‘Law Clinic’, which provides legal support for the staff and students of the National Mining University. This work of students is carried out under the guidance of the teaching staff of the Faculty of Law.
