Faculty of construction

Dean of the faculty is Igor Ivanovych Usik, Candidate of Technical Science, Professor of the Department of Construction and Geomechanics.

The faculty is founded in 1951 on the basis of graduating departments: mine and underground construction, and mine surveying.

At the faculty there are four departments:

• construction and geomechanics;
  
• mining surveying;
  
• geodesy;
  
• physics.
  

The faculty trains specialists in the following direction by specialties:

Specialty: Mining and underground construction;

• Municipal underground construction;
  

• Construction of automobile highways and tunnels.
  

Specialty: Mine-surveying;

Specialty: Land organization and cadastre.

Levels of training: bachelor, specialist, master.

Objects of the activity of the faculty graduates are construction, restructuring, surveying for mining and industrious enterprises, tunnels and subways, land resources evaluation.
