Marganets College

Bilozyorov Adolf Volodimirovich has been the Director of the College for 35 years.

Marganets Mining Technical School was founded in February 1955. According to the order of the Ministry of Education of Ukraine from 20th of June 1997 Marganets Technical School was restructured into Marganets College of the National Mining University.

Marganets College is an education establishment of the first level of accreditation, which trains young specialists.

There are three departments at the College:

• mining electromechanics;
  
• automobile (motorcar);
  
• postal tuition.
  

The training process is carried out according to 4 trends and 6 specialties.

Mining

• Technology of underground exploit of mineral resources;
  
• Exploitation and repairing of mining elctromechanic equipment and automatic devices.
  

Economics and business

• Business economics;
  
• Bookkeeping.
  

Engineering mechanics

• Exploitation and repairing of automobiles and engines.
  

Transport technology

• Organization of transporting and automobile control.
  

The educational process is provided by a highly qualified staff of teachers with longstanding experience in educational, studying and methodical work. 32 teachers from 50 permanent members of staff have a high category, 3 of the teachers have a rank of teacher-methodist and 2 are the candidates of the engineering sciences.

The graduates of the College get a qualification of a young specialist, and then they gain bachelor, specialist and master degrees during further education at the University.
