Principles and entry Requirements
The University accepts foreign county citizens having full secondary education irrespective of their race, sex, language, religion. The study is proceeded on contract conditions.
The ground for arranging necessary documents for entering Ukraine with the purpose of study is the "Invitation to Study", which is issued by the University, and a visa support of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine. The term of arrival is
from the 15th of August to 15th of October.
At the admittance the following documents are submitted:
- Application form for acceptance to study.
- Personal application.
- An original and notary confirmed copy of the academic certificate with indication of subjects learned and marks received.
- Medical certificate approving the absence of HIV-positive.
- Medical certificate indicating the absence of medical contra-indication for studying.
- Passport.
- Insurance police for receiving the urgent medical help for foreign citizens.
- 6 photos (size 4x6 sm.).
- Copy of birth certificate.
- Return ticket with the open date of returning to the native country of up to one-year term.
The documents indicated in points 3,4,5,9 must be obligatory translated into Russian (Ukrainian) and legalized in accordance with the laws of the country of their issue.
The admittance is done according to the results of interview in Russian and Mathematics. If the results of the interview are positive, the contract is concluded, stating the right and obligation of the sides for the whole period of study.
The foreign citizens enlisted to the University, study in academic groups together with Ukrainian students.
The curriculum of training in specialty includes:
- cycle of humanitarian and social economic subjects;
- cycle of fundamental subjects;
- cycle of profession oriented subjects.
The foreign citizens, who completed the study, accomplished all the demands of the curriculum, passed State Examinations and defended the diploma project, are granted with an appropriate educational level ("Bachelor", "Specialist", "Master") and are
given the State Educational Academic Certificate (Diploma) in Ukrainian and English.
The University graduates received Master degree, who showed the abilities to scientific research work, according to the department recommendation and State Examination commission can be accepted to the post-graduate courses to train, write and defend the thesis for getting a degree “Candidate of Sciences”.
Foreign specialists who received higher education in other countries, are accepted to post-graduate courses according to the State Academic Certificate nostrificated in the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine. All foreign citizens studying in the University are given the accommodation in
student hostels.
The foreign citizens who do not know Ukrainian (Russian) are enlisted to the Preparatory Department.
The purposes of Preparatory Department are:
- language (Russian and Ukrainian) study and lingua culture adaptation of foreign citizens in Ukraine;
- correction of general education of foreign citizens in order to provide the successful studying educational programs in any Ukrainian higher educational institution;
- professional orientation of foreigners in choosing the specialty.
During the period of education the students of Preparatory Department study Russian and Ukrainian, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, History of Ukraine, Drawing and Informatics under the guidance of highly qualified instructors. During students` free time they get acquainted with the city`s places
of interest, possibilities and study conditions of students in the University, their life and mode of life.
The size of the student group is about 8-10 people.
The term of studying is 10 months (from the 1st of September to the 30th of June).
After completing the study and passing the graduate examinations the students receive the Certificate of State Standard and directed (recommended) to enter the University or other higher educational institution of Ukraine.
