The Ukrainian-German cultural center

Director of the Centre is Yaremenko Iryna Anatoliyivna.

The Centre is founded in 1997 with the support of the Federal Land Brandenburg, Dnipropetrovsk Regional Administration, Rector’s Administration of the National Mining University.

Main directions of the Centre’s activity:

1. cultural information,
2. methodical,
3. educational.

The Centre has been the partner of Goethe-Institute in implementing regional cultural and educational programs since 2000. On the basis of the Centre there are carried out cultural activities, seminars for teachers, courses of the German language; there is German videoclub and the club of German language fans.

Levels of language training:

1. starting level,
2. middle one,
3. specialized courses of the German language for professional training of economists.

Fields of skills application by the Center’s attendants:

• certificates ZD – “German as a foreign language”,
• ZMP – “German for middle level”,
• ZDf Beruf – “German language for the profession”.
