The partnership of Mining University and University of Technology of Belfort-Montbéliard in action
The workshop on “Renewable Energy and Electric Vehicles” has been held on November 24th 2017, at the Schneider Electric Authorized Training Centre in the National Mining University (NMU), the city of Dnipro, Ukraine.
The workshop has been conducted in terms of the joint research and development project “Electric vehicles with/for electric grids”, which is being implemented by NMU together with the University of Technology of Belfort-Montbéliard (UTBM, France) under the umbrella of cooperation programme between Campus France and the Ministry of Education of Ukraine “Dnipro-2017”.
Dr. Mohamed Becherif and Dr. Haitham Ramadan together with their NMU colleagues from the departments of Electric Drives, Renewable Energy Sources, Electric Supply Systems and Machinery Design Fundamentals, have shared their experience in the fields of electric mobility, renewables, fuel cells and 3D prototyping. Together they tried to map out the future of these technologies in Europe and in Ukraine particularly. The specialists have outlined the most perspective developments in the areas of power electronics, fuel cells and energy transmission.
The parties has agreed to extend their cooperation in education, research and business.
